People who ride bikes or bicycles are cyclists, or simply people riding bikes. Cyclists sometimes wear lycra, not spandex. People who ride motorcycles are bikers, or simply people riding motorcycles. Bikers sometimes wear leather, and if they're on a budget (or are vegan) they wear pleather. Both cyclists and bikers ride bikes. What cyclists do is riding, what bikers do is annoying...but it's also riding. Cyclists don't bike to work or to the store. They ride. When a cyclist, or person who rides a bike, wakes up early on saturday or sunday to ride his or her bike, they will be riding, not biking. If it's 30 degrees or colder on that saturday or sunday morning, the cyclist is stubborn. But he is also happy.
